I believe buying off Bitpanda is better as you can send and receive, unlike on Coinbase where they literally lock it up.

Coinbase and Bitpanda are two of the most suggested exchanges when you are online looking for cryptocurrency trade platforms. Reason being that both of them are some of the early arrivers as cryptocurrency exchange platforms in the market. Although the detailed personal thoughts can be found on the respective reviews sections of the platforms, here are some of the general differences between the two exchanges:

  • To mention first they were both founded just a two years apart from each other, Coinbase first in 2012.
  • They both have great community trust, security, customer support, and verification required.
  • Coinbase fee is relatively higher than Bitpanda but coinbase makes up for it with its easy to operate user interface.
  • Bitpanda offers more than double the number of different cryptocurrencies on its exchange than coinbase but both have bitcoin, ethereum, litecoin, etc available.
  • Bitpanda lacks at being beginner-friendly while coinbase is a preferred choice for trading enthusiasts.
  • Coinbase also has the upper hand over Bitpanda by having a mobile application.
